"Tis a lesson you should heed,
Try, try again;
If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try again;
Then your courage should appear,
For if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear,
Try, try again.
Once or twice through you should fail,
Try try again;
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again;
If we strive, 'tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again.
Time will bring you your reward,
Try, try again.
All that other folks can do,
Why, with patience, should not you?
Only keep this rule in view;
Try, try again.
~ William Edward Hickson (1803-1870)
* i'm no great writer. but i love reading good poems, good books, or any other good writings. find meanings in every piece of people's masterpiece. sort of like enlightenment as well.
thus, the more i see, the more i read, the more i know, the more i learn, the more i think.
keep on tryin ladies and gentlemen. besides, life itself is a lifelong never ending strivings from one goal to another new goal. have fun !
